Dr. Derek Hamilton
Dr. Derek Hamilton is a native of southeastern Michigan, having graduated from Michigan College of Optometry in May of 2006. His professional interests include ocular disease, LASIK vision correction and primary care optometry. Dr. Hamilton has volunteered his optometric services in the South American country of Guyana. He is a leader in his profession and a member of the American Optometric Association’s Continuing Education Committee. You can find Derek talking all things optical on his YouTube channel.
Dr. Pushpam Baweja
Dr. Pushpam Baweja is a native Houstonian, but Austin became home ever since she attended the University of Texas (Hook ’em Horns!) for her undergrad degree in Biology and a certification in Business Foundations as well as Health Informatics. She only briefly returned to her hometown to attend The University of Houston College of Optometry to obtain her graduate degree. Dr. Baweja has a special interest and expertise in vision correction with glasses and/or contact lenses, including specialty lenses, LASIK, and the management and treatment of ocular diseases. Outside of the office Dr. Baweja enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time outdoors, and trying out new restaurants.
